SummarizeHub is designed to help you summarize text while collecting as little information as reasonably possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the website and the choices available to you.
1. Text you submit
When you request a summary, the text and selected summary settings are transmitted securely to our server and then to DeepSeek, our AI processing provider, to generate the result. SummarizeHub does not intentionally retain the submitted text after the request is completed. Avoid submitting confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive information.
2. Information collected automatically
Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request timestamps, referring pages, and diagnostic or security logs. Aggregated traffic information may also be used to understand site usage and performance.
3. Cookies and local storage
The current version of SummarizeHub does not intentionally use advertising cookies or create user profiles. The hosting platform or browser may use essential technologies necessary for security and delivery. If we introduce optional analytics or other cookies, this policy will be updated.

Third-party providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices.
7. Data retention
SummarizeHub does not intentionally store submitted text after the summary request is completed. Our AI and hosting providers may retain limited request data or technical logs under their own policies. Technical logs and email correspondence may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security, support, legal, and operational purposes.
8. Your choices
You may avoid providing personal information in text submitted for summarization. You may also contact us to ask a privacy question or request action concerning information you previously provided by email, subject to applicable law.
9. Children’s privacy
SummarizeHub is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age that applies in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
